    Mario Verlangieri is a composer, guitarist, and sound engineer based in Los Angeles, California. He has worked on network television shows, independent films & documentaries, video games, commercials, and podcasts, as well as with local award-winning and internationally renowned artists. He is a graduate of California State University, San Bernardino and the prestigious USC Thornton School of Music Screen Scoring program, where he had the privilege of studying with some of the industry's top professionals. 

    Recent projects include additional writing on the upcoming series C*A*U*G*H*T, staring Sean Penn and Matthew Fox, the Nickelodeon series Blaze and the Monster Machines, and the Cartoon Network/ Adult Swim series Robot Chicken. He scored the short films Donut Boy and Playground this year, and was a featured musician (guitar) and score mixer on the feature documentary Beyond Ed Buck (Amazon Prime), where he collaborated with the film's composer Chris McElroy. His past work has been featured at the Cannes International Film Festival, the Pan African Film and Arts Festival, and the Hawaii International Film Festival. 

 

     Mario composes and works out of his personal studio, where he spends most of his time discovering new sounds and collaborating with like-minded creatives. When not composing or performing live, Mario can be found hiking in the Angeles National Forest,  kayaking around the Channel Islands, or enjoying a craft beer at a local brewery.
